This was the first photo to catch my eye in the collection. Its black and white visage did nothing to hide the color and life of the women posing here. She looks as though she is willful and defiant - to be posing naked certainly made her a step outside of what was considered societal norms.

Her body proudly displays its curves - this is a long time before a stick thin model became the ’standard’ for looks. This vintage porn image has a few elements of thought as well. Is the pearl necklace just a bad pun (or was that expression not even around at that time?) Perhaps she saw each bead as a taboo that was considered white and pure - but was really murky and uncertain underneath.

Her other hand travels up her chest, brushing over the smooth, soft skin. It is a very unitentinally sensual pose: the brush of the hand across her perfect, natural tit, the full frontal display of her curves and flawless skin, the drawing up of the knee as though she was getting ready to spread herself for the person she had her distant gaze fixtated on.

The yellowed receipt that came with the photo bore the name Retro Raunch on it - I wonder what else my grandparents sent them.
